How to Play

Survive waves, upgrade your weapons, and keep enemies at a safe distance.

The Core Goal

Squid Shooter is a wave-based FPS. Each wave spawns enemies, and your job is to eliminate them before they overwhelm you. Clear the wave, then prepare for the next one with better weapons and smarter positioning.

The Gameplay Loop

  1. Spawn and scout. Learn where enemies approach from and where you can use cover.
  2. Fight the wave. Keep moving, aim for consistency, and avoid letting enemies get close.
  3. Reset and upgrade. When safe, reload and buy upgrades from the market.
  4. Advance. Clear the current wave to unlock the next one.

Weapon Upgrades: When to Buy

Early Waves

Pick a weapon that feels reliable. Accuracy and consistent damage matter more than flashy options.

Mid Waves

Upgrade when you notice enemies taking too long to drop. Faster kills reduce the risk of being surrounded.

Late Waves

Balance damage with reload speed and control. In long fights, stability often beats raw power.

Tip: reload between waves and after big fights. Entering a wave half-loaded is a common way to lose runs.
